2024 Board Break-a-Thon

World Class Tae Kwon Do & Hope For Healing Scars join forces to create an unbelievable event! 

Tae Kwon Do students of all ages will break 2,000 boards for a great cause!

Hope for Healing Scars is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization  with a mission to impact our community through education, events, and training in the knowledge and skills of Tae Kwon Do, self-defense and personal safety.  Since its inception in 2022, Hope for Healing Scars has taught more than 600 children, teens, men and women across Birmingham personal protection, bully prevention and self defense tactics. 

This year’s funds raised will go toward developing and creating STAND-UP to Bullying video resources, literature and education for local elementary schools and their students.

The Board Break-A-Thon is an awesome experience for the World Class community. We will break thousands of wooden boards with a variety of punching, striking and kicking techniques! And get ready to watch an impressive Black Belt demonstration with music, high-flying kicks, and, of course, board breaking! We know you will enjoy the experience of breaking boards and performing for this very worthy cause.
